Another year for Atelier Eltania~ Thanks to everyone who visited our stall, asked for our photos, chatted to us and bought some of our handmade stuff! We met some really awesome people this year, who were happy to share squeals of excitement over love of characters and various anime series

On our table – you might have seen various combos of us – we had our Evangelion group consisting of Rei, Mari, Misato, Shinji and Asuka~

It's been so long I'm sure many of you have forgotten who I was!

Apologies for the continued MIA status. I have all the usual excuses of work etc etc but I'm sure you don't want to hear about all that boring stuff.

Still, I was surprised to log on and find that despite my absence, I've gotten over 10k page views! Many thanks to everyone who have visited, commented, and faved my work. I know this is only a small milestone for some people, but I remember the days where I was indescribably happy with like, 700 views.

So, as a way to celebrate and motivate myself to draw again (since my skills have seriously deteriorated in the recent months), I'd like to propose the following...

Selling Post!

Phew! What a whirlwind of a month it has been! And it all came together last Saturday. I'm both relieved and sad that it's all over.

Sorry I don't have many pretty pictures to decorate my entry with, so I'll try to keep it short and sweet.



Firstly so much thanks to everyone who visited our stall! We love seeing people walk around the convention with our little yellow fluffball Hibirds and mini-hats on people's heads, or our badges on their shirts and bags. This year, I must  admit we're not as prepared as we could've been, but we'll try harder next year, so please look forward to visiting us again! We'll have more shiny new stuff

A big shout out to my Fairy Tail crew ... we did our first full dress rehearsal at the cosplay comp on stage, and I must say it was exhilarating. I was trying so hard not to crack up because like the audience, I was basically seeing the whole thing the first time, and you guys were awesome.

Thanks to my lovely neighbour once again itakoaya who was such wonderful company and kept stuffing us with food lol, thanks bb~. She looked so gorgeous in her Saber outfit too >3<

And many thanks to SMASHcon and the SMASH! crew, who made this whole weekend so awesome. To tom-nom-nom, kimiko, Sykugen, and the rest of the cool volunteers I met, it's been a whole new experience helping with the back end of things and it's great to see everyone so committed, and it was a success to be proud of ^_^

It was so great to see everyone else, especially the gorgeous cosplayers whom I haven't seen for AGES! The quality of cosplay has really gone up and seriously, I could not fault anyone's costumes, you all looked so amazing *_* Also the awesome other artists ... I wanted to chat with you guys so much more and check out your merch... The artist circle is getting better than ever! I was sad I couldn't visit the various areas of the con or talk to as many people as I would've liked, but I do hope to see you all soon when I'm not running around like a headless chicken lol.

Last but not least, thanks to silverharmony, ravient and kawaiifortune, who kept giving me words of encouragement. I can't wait till the next time we meet!

And to finish it all off, just wanted to take a picture of the two purchases I DID manage to make (I wanted to buy so much more but no time!) - a cute little hair bow from my talented neighbour itakoaya and a lovely pair of earrings from Nekochii~ You guys are just so lovely, and their stuff just keeps getting better ^.^

How is everyone doing?? I feel like it's been forever since I've caught up with all of you. I've been MIA pretty much since the end of last year, I'm so sorry!

My life these days has been pretty much been consumed by work. I don't know how you full-time workers do it. Especially the ones who still manage to do a million cosplays on the side.
