Animania Manifest & SMASH! Beware picspam post
I must be the last one to post about the cons lol. Can't help though but share some of the pictures of our groups I've collected in the past few weeks.

Ok, so I lie, there are like no pics for this con. Why you ask? I didn't cosplay and went as a volunteer instead.
It was odd walking around the con, with people generally ignoring you, unless they needed to know where the bathrooms were or something lol. I must say I was a pretty bad volunteer as it was my first year and I didn't know anything. Coming into the team pretty much last minute meant I didn't have a shirt or tag, so I looked super suspicious too >_>
My role was to do the video cameras for the main stage, getting the epic close-up shots of cosplayers fufufu. As a result, I was probably the ugly green-vested person who was in the way of people taking photos of the cosplayers on stage
Being a volunteer was a tiring job. My entire body was sore afterwards, which either meant the job was very tough, or that I'm super weak lol.

First up is Friday's Bakuman group. I stole all the pics from ~ravient, my lovely Saiko <3
Taking advantage of the manga stall in the con! I was doing the same pose as in the manga I'm holding XD If you can't see the cover very well, here's a close-up here ^_^

After scouring through the shelves also found the correct Naruto manga to shove under my arm. Too bad we couldn't find the right One Piece cover ;_;

Saturday was our Trap Brigade, Katekyo Hitman Reborn! team. It was so much fun being part of the group~ I think I've been Hibari more times than my other cosplays combined lol XD

Finally, Sunday was our Espada team. I was gladly surprised at people's appreciation of our group, since Bleach is one of those series which is old and overdone and people'd be tired of (not that it would've stopped me from cosplaying it). So thanks for all the wonderful attention. Espada family is love.

Although cosplaying Ashford was fun, having super long wigs that got in the way of vision whenever you bent down (which we did plenty of) really lowers your HP during the day (as my C.C. described it).

Originally I was going to be Shirley both days, but as a random spontaneous decision, Meeko my C.C. and I decided to swap wigs. We managed to confuse a few people lol XD Here's a picture of us with Kallen and the boys.

In other news...
Yes, I got my net back, and hurray, it's actually faster than before ^_^ The bad thing about that is that now I'm tempted to download way more stuff than I used to which means increased likelihood of being capped >_<
Now that con season is over, I'm spending my time trying to work on a newer portfolio and hopefully getting off my ass and to try to get myself employed. Progress is not good, as I find that time passes quite quickly when I'm baking in my room playing Pokemon Platinum amongst doing other useless things.
I also should be drawing to update my devArt but I'm finding it difficult to find the motivation. If any of you want to request a simple sketch or something, post a reply of what you'd like so I can try to get into the flow of things again. Can't guarantee quality though, it's been ages since I've drawn T_T
And last but not least, the new song by Jaejoong and Yoochun from DBSK, Colors ~ Melody & Harmony is making me smile
